When I was photographing dewdrops on some plants in my back garden, I noticed a some spiderwebs on my dead lime tree ๐ They made for some fascinating photos – not as sharp as I’d like, but hey it was 8 degrees Celsius and it wasn’t even 7am! Plus it was almost above head height so a little difficult to shoot handheld.
For this entire shoot, I used my Olympus OMD EM5 with the 60mm macro lens. The web in the photos above is about 5cm across, just to give you an idea of scale.
Finally in Lightroom, I did some harsh cropping and high contrast / high clarity editing to bring out these little jewel-like beads.
I had so much fun doing this shoot and even more fun in editing. I’ll send these photos to Lucile’s Photo101 Rehab Clinic – come by and see everyone!
Love love love photography!
