Black and White Bench Art

I thought this bench was fabulous – the end shaped like the bow of a ship. It seemed made for high-contrast black and white.

Shot at Wilson Botanic Park with my Olympus OMD EM5 with my 60mm (120mm equivalent) macro lens.

Wow! It is a stunning bench but your high-contrast b&w photo enhances the impression even more.

Ah, now this would have been perfect in my last year’s bench challenge, I suspect not a very comfortable one to sit on even though it looks good. As does your photo of it ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š It sloped down to some long bench seating which wasn’t too bad to sit on.

Fantastic design. Did you try sitting on it? Which part of the bench?

Yes, actually it extended down into a very long bench with three tiered rows of seating. I changed lenses on the bottom bench ๐Ÿ˜Š
