I haven’t travelled since I moved to Melbourne in January, but this week I had a doozy of a trip.
It started with a weekend in Brisbane for my best friend’s birthday. What a fun weekend, we had such a good time and it was really good seeing these guys again. Massages, dinners, cocktails, way too much wine, not enough sleep, but a hell of a lot of fun.
In this post, I’m just sharing the iPhone shots. I did photograph the whole weekend with my Olympus, but I haven’t processed those yet.
I then flew to Newcastle for a conference in the Hunter Valley, which is a wonderful wine region a few hours out of Sydney. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to visit any wineries or do anything else because the conference was so busy. But it was a good conference with lots of interesting conversations and lots of people coming to see our microscope.
Finally, when I arrived home, I picked up my little Miss Gidget from the lady who minded her. She seemed to have had a good time, but may be slightly confused about where she lives now. She kept waking me up all night which resulted in this:
I’m looking forward to having a fairly chilled out weekend. How about you?
