The Flowers of Brunswick East (5)

So delicate and pretty.
Olympus OMD EM5 with 60mm macro lens (120mm equivalent), handheld, low light, shaky shoulder.

I just want to say thank you so much for all your comments yesterday. It makes me feel so much better to hear from you all. And to those of you who are also in pain, I’m so very sorry to hear it. It can be so hard to deal with and often other people have no idea what you’re going through. If anyone wants to talk, just let me know, I’m happy to listen.

Just a little extra note – all of my Flowers of Brunswick East posts have been scheduled out over the coming weeks. I took all of the photos on three separate walks (so far) and I sit down on Sundays and write them up, and schedule them to post, one every second day. I used to do this years ago but fell off the wagon. It makes life so much easier to have them scheduled and ready to go. It means I can spend more time with comments and reading your posts as well.

I only hope that you don’t get tired of seeing my flowers ๐Ÿ˜Š

How could I possibly suffer from flower-fatigue??? Scheduling was one of my great discoveries. So was thinking ahead. I now have 7.5 RegularRandom posts only waiting to link to you. It also means I can polish my prose, and find something to intersperse with rust.

On the subject of blogosphere sympathy: it’s overwhelming. I’m glad you felt its power and I hope you soon don’t need to. I don’t know how you keep going with minimal sleep.

Oh fantastic to have so many scheduled. I have 18 flower posts scheduled so far and I took some more shots a few days ago. I used to have a bank of RegularRandom posts too but I ran out.
Yes it’s a fabulous community here, I’m so blessed to be part of it. Lack of sleep is becoming difficult. I’ve become pretty emotional as a result, which is frustrating. Had my scans today, lots of fluid in the joint apparently. Doctor tomorrow for the results.

I so hope it’s instantly treatable. I ran out of RegularRandom a few weeks ago, but I’ve replenished stocks. Just about to take the old camera down to confront a feral lily near my clothesline.

You know I can never get tired of flowers, particularly captured with your rather magic way of photographing them. Hope the pain isn’t too bad today and your doctor’s appointment provides answers and treatment options. Sending very careful, gentle hugs.

I’ll add my voice to the others. I can’t see me getting tired of shots like these. But feel free to try your best to overload me!

I think by now you will have realised that many of your followers are flower fanatics too. And the way you photograph them is superb. Love this little unidentified beauty, and I wish you luck with the treatment xx
