And now for the Louvre – oh to have a few days to spend here. What a spectacular scene. We drove through a little “tunnel” of darkness which opened up onto the magnificent square – I was not prepared for the beauty of this spot. If I had time, of course I would have hopped off the bus but I confess I would have spent my whole day here, it is stunning. And of course, the grounds are enormous and there is so much to explore.
I tell you, I’m coming back!
