Thanks – yes it’s bougainvillea. I love this walkway. It’s called the Arbour and it’s covered in pink bougainvillea which is in full flower now. I’ve always called it the elephant walk but didn’t really know why – I think I was remembering The Lion King and imagining they were the rib cages in the elephant graveyard they were warned against visiting. However, my friend commented on this photo on Facebook saying it looked like a pride of elephants – and I can see it now – a line of trumpeting elephants. So cool what you can see if you look 😄
