Melbourne Stay : The Larwill Studio.

I always try to stay at an Art Series Hotel, if I can.  There are four in Melbourne: The Olsen, The Cullen, The Blackman and the new one is The Larwill Studio. I have yet to try The Blackman, but I have been lucky enough to stay at the others. These hotels are named after the artist whose work appears throughout the hotel.  They have gorgeously decorated rooms, with quality furnishings and quirky cute extras to make your stay more comfortable. I always feel at home, which can be very rare when you travel. The beds and pillows are amazingly comfortable and the art is fantastic.  The staff are always approachable and fun and I always enjoy my stay.

This time, I was at The Larwill, which is attached to The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. Fabulous, so cool. There is a small cafe in the lobby with very great coffee and good bircher’s muesli.  The lobby and my room were both airy and spacious and light and very comfortable.

Location is good, price is quite reasonable and I will absolutely stay here again. It has become one of my favourites!
