In Australia, we don’t often need to “get warm” or “find warmth”. It’s coming to the end of Spring and the beginning of Summer so we get to bask in the warmth of the sun by the pool.
Today I’m featuring Gidget’s best friend Olly (Gidget is my 6kg Maltese x Lhasa Apso and Olly is my best friend’s 50kg German Shepherd). We saw Olly featured in my weekend photos, doing a Christmas card shoot.
Olly adores the water, he loves jumping around the garden hose when it’s spraying but most of all, he loves the pool, as you can see in this collection:
These four aren’t the sharpest of images, but I love the joy of the moment and I love his big paw underwater in the last shot.
My header image is one of my favourite photos of all time. Olly has one ear that lies down and one that stands up – it’s adorable and makes him instantly recognisable.

What’s not warming about fury kids! Great shots….looks like you may have enjoyed taking the, as well….you can tel :0) the big paw paw in the last shot does draw it all together. I think the first one is my favorite. That look of YES it’s time, really works! Great job!
