I was on a flight recently where the captain advised that it was a fully air-conditioned flight and we should make sure to keep all the doors and windows closed – LOL.
Here are a couple of photos from this current trip to Melbourne. We went to two of my favourite restaurants while I was here.
First – Mr Miyagi. Japanese restaurant in Chapel Street in South Yarra. My all time favourite Japanese restaurant in Australia. Super cool, absolutely delicious, modern, – this was my third visit – funky, yummy, great cocktails. Highlights are the “Charlie Does Tokyo” cocktail, the MFC (Miyagi Fried Chicken) and any of their sashimi. This place is fabulous. It was Wednesday night and it was pumping, so busy, full of people. Love it. I wanted to show you photos from here but it was so delicious I forgot!
Today, we had breakfast at 7 Seeds. The opposite in terms of atmosphere. This place is cool, mellow, hipster, laid back. THE BEST coffee we have ever had. Food is also delicious. I had poached eggs with smoked salmon and pomegranate. My friend had granola with yoghurt and plum jam and liked it so much he had a second bowl. I tasted it and it was A-MAZING.
Ok, I have to turn off the phone, we are about to leave beautiful Melbourne. More tomorrow.

You manage to make the everyday look so superb, Desleyjane. The food is lovely, but paired with the beautiful lights and shadows just takes these photos to a much higher level. G.o.r.g.e.o.u.s!!

Yum! I loved the vibe in Melbourne, even being there for only a few days. And that’s a funny pilot! 🙂
