For this week’s Weekly Photo Challenge, we are tasked with photographing Walls: Share an image of a wall that reveals something about a place, people, or you.
Here are some walls that I’ve discovered recently…
This hardware store seems to be using all available wall space for advertising. Some kind of desperation?

This wall is under a freeway, it’s actually holding up the freeway. Perhaps the weight of a few posters might affect the stability – lol.

This wall is behind the cafe in the hotel that I stay at in Melbourne. It is a large size reproduction of one of David Larwill’s works. I also like the sign posted on the cafe bench.

Finally, here is a print that I made from one of my photos of a birthday cake. I’ve had this printed on metal and it is on a wall in the patio of my back garden. It sums up my thoughts on life quite nicely.
I hope you have a fabulous week!

Love that last one, it’s so good. I’m going to adopt that as my new mantra. Lovely post on the theme.

What a beautiful collection of walls! The hardware shop especially is oddly picturesque. I need to copycat your patio sign and hang it somewhere visible 😉

Thanks Mara, I’m glad you like the hardware store, it really struck me when I saw it. I can send you my patio sign if you like? 🙂

I’m sold on your last poster, so vibrant and cheerful. Wonderful that you printed it on a metal frame in your patio. It would be the first thing my eye would catch if I visited 🙂

Thank you Loretta! Yes, it really works on the metal, it’s easily cleaned and the colours have come out perfectly.

DJ, your walls are superior. Each and every one of them has a sharp image and smart message. You rock, hun!
Your mantra is mine. I want it as my computer screen!

lol love the artwork you made yourself, you should go in to business doing this! You have no rain there for it to rust up I guess otherwise I would decorate my whole garden with pictures like that. Wow the first one is manic, totally over busy nearly gave me a head buzz hehe x

I did a double take when I saw the hardware store so I had to get the phone out! We do get some crazy storms here with pounding rain and it has survived so far, I think it is coated with something. Xx
