For this week’s Weekly Photo Challenge, we are tasked with photographing Walls: Share an image of a wall that reveals something about a place, people, or you.

Here are some walls that I’ve discovered recently…

This hardware store seems to be using all available wall space for advertising. Some kind of desperation?

This wall is under a freeway, it’s actually holding up the freeway. Perhaps the weight of a few posters might affect the stability – lol.

This wall is behind the cafe in the hotel that I stay at in Melbourne. It is a large size reproduction of one of David Larwill’s works. I also like the sign posted on the cafe bench.

Finally, here is a print that I made from one of my photos of a birthday cake. I’ve had this printed on metal and it is on a wall in the patio of my back garden. It sums up my thoughts on life quite nicely.

I hope you have a fabulous week!

  1. I’m sold on your last poster, so vibrant and cheerful. Wonderful that you printed it on a metal frame in your patio. It would be the first thing my eye would catch if I visited 🙂

  2. lol love the artwork you made yourself, you should go in to business doing this! You have no rain there for it to rust up I guess otherwise I would decorate my whole garden with pictures like that. Wow the first one is manic, totally over busy nearly gave me a head buzz hehe x

    1. I did a double take when I saw the hardware store so I had to get the phone out! We do get some crazy storms here with pounding rain and it has survived so far, I think it is coated with something. Xx
