The Aussie Beach

Symbol_Beach-1

A symbolic photo of Australia must be the beach, right?!

This was a lovely hot Summer’s day at St Kilda Beach in Melbourne.

I lived in Australia for two years in the early seventies. Returned a few years ago and found so many changes. I guess it is to be expected! http://judydykstrabrown.com/2015/07/11/the-rabbits-navel/

Thanks Deb! Yes it was chilly here today too and I seemed to have picked up a bug so the sunshine photo made me happy as well. Thanks so much.

I haven’t been there, but the colour of the sand reminds me of my “home” beach: Scarborough, just north of Brisbane.

Meanwhile, we’ve had snow here in Queensland for the first time since 1984. I’d love to be sunning myself at the beach. I’ll meet you there!!!
