I’m excited to join Jennifer Nichole Wells’ One Word Photo Challenge, which is Spring!
Spring has well and truly sprung here in Brisbane so I took some progressive shots of my pretty little white dahlia that I planted recently. Of course I couldn’t resist a high contrast, high drama shot for Lucile’s Photo101 Rehab Clinic.

I’ve been staring at the greyscale one for like 10 minutes now.. It’s making me calm.. Beautifully captured (as always) 🙂 ❤

I find it amusing that your spring flowers are our autumn flowers – dahlias still blooming here, though perhpas not for much longer as the lovely sunny Indian Summer has passed and we are back to the usual grey and damp of November fog and rain 😦
Keep posting your spring flowers, I need something to cheer me up!

Oh I love dahlias! I only just planted a few for the first time and they are delightful. And such good subjects. It’s raining here too, stormy for the next few days, not helpful for open homes! Xx
