Why are the partners in the Orange costumes? And, the separate people too? was it a special day?

It was Kings Day in Amsterdam (like the Queens Birthday). It’s a national holiday and the whole city turns orange. Lucile and her husband and I were in his boat on the canal taking shots of the people on the streets. Amazing fun day. I wrote a few posts about it back in May I think.

Oh it was. So much fun. Yes Lucile had lots of orange things for us to wear. She has a picture of me in orange sunglasses that are twice as big as my head!! 😂😂
