I finally decided to take my camera with me to the park tonight and pottered around in amongst the trees and took some shots of this lovely plant.

As usual I used my Olympus OMD EM5. I went out only with my 45mm (f/1.8, 90mm equivalent) lens with me. It’s not an everyday lens, but I really love it and want to shoot with it more.

Wishing you a very happy weekend.

      1. I know what you mean, I enjoy trying to keep up with reading blogs but it can be hard trying to keep up with it all. And then there’s things like work and life that get in the way 😊

  1. Great shots, DJ. You know I’m a B&W lover, so they are the winners.
Really mastery shots. The 45mm is an excellent lens and 1.8 is just magic.
I am so happy to see you striking back. It inspires me to do the same.
I love your new theme. It is very beautiful and sophisticated.
Perhaps I should also change mine to start new…
Will ask your ideas on that if you don’t mind.

    1. It really is a wonderful lens I have a few more shots coming up. I think the new theme motivated me to get moving with blogging again. I’ve scheduled a number of posts and I’m enjoying reading posts again. Thank you for your comments on the theme. I really like it. And I’ve decreased the size of my photo files so it loads much more quickly now.
Yes of course, any time xox.
