When I went back to Brisbane for my friend’s birthday weekend, I got to see my old city at night as well as my bridge. Brisbane really is a beautiful city. I think it’s often overlooked – but it’s really stunning, something to see from every angle, lots of hills to see the city and reflections from above.

  2. In the early 70s, I went to Brisbane and got lost about 10 km from the Uni. I couldn’t even see the city-glow. Then last year I saw it from Floor 24 of the Marriott and was astonished at its gentle setting among hills. I’d love to spend more time exploring. You and Pauline do good PR.

    1. I’m glad you think so. It’s such a picturesque place. Southbank especially is designed for fun but also to look beautiful at night. And Pauline’s recent post on the Roma St Parklands made me wish I’d been there!
