This is my first post from our visit to the Royal Melbourne Botanical Gardens. These flowers were so stunning – I spent quite a bit of time with them. And I fell in love when I edited the image above.
As usual, I used my Olympus OMD EM5 with the 60mm macro lens.

Lovely gentle detailed shots. What happened to your delicious sidebar?

Thank you Meg. I changed it away from a standard post just to see what happened. And I miss my “delicious sidebar” as well so it should now be back!

Thank you Susan. Oh I meant to tag your challenge with this post. Sorry things have been very busy here, this post was scheduled. I’m about to go away for a couple of weeks too so it will have to be when I get back probably. Take care!

I did not know this were called Cosmos. Rightfully so cause they are generally loved. Enchanting captures, Desley!

I had forgotten the name, I’m generally very bad with botany. Thanks so much Paula.

Thank you Ruth, I love it too. I want to have it printed on a wall decal for my bedroom as I have a sloping wall which I can’t really hang anything on and I think it would be fabulous.
