I am so excited to share this post with you all!!!

So in amongst our real jobs and our actual lives, Julie and I have been very busy preparing for the launch of our creative photography workshops business. We are called Pixel Sisters Studios and we are hosting photography workshops in a large studio space here in Melbourne.

We are so excited. Julie and I work together really well and can spend hours coming up with new things to try and creating fabulous shots. So it made sense to share that with others!

Given our addiction to flowers, Julie’s love for Still Life and my obsession with macro, our first workshop is called Floral Fantasy and revolves around Still Life and Macro shoots with flowers.

Julie found a fabulous studio not too far from where she lives, there’s fantastic lighting and plenty of space, so we can get really hands on with our workshop groups and get into the nitty gritty detail of nailing a really beautiful image.

We’ve created a website for our business: Pixel Sisters Studio – we’d love it if you took a look!

And if you’re in Melbourne and interested in coming along to the Floral Fantasy workshop, you can get your tickets here.

  1. I LOVE being on the periphery of your energy, even if I (or rather my camera) doesn’t qualify for the workshop. Every good wish for this new venture. Just as well you changed jobs!

    1. So sorry about the link! It’s fixed now. Thanks so much Meg. We’re holding beginner workshops soon if this takes off. Yes! I wouldn’t have time for this if I was still traveling. Everything seems to be falling into place now. So happy about that!

  2. Wow! You are certainly taking life by the horns aren’t you! First a new city, then a new job and now a new adventure. Good luck with it all and if I am ever in the Melbourne area I shall definitely look you up. Not that I can compete in any way with yours or Julies amazing photography.
