As you know, I love macro photography and flowers are my favourite macro subject.
So when I had the opportunity to photograph sunflowers for last weekend’s RegularRandom, I made sure to get some close macro shots to share with you.
And of courses, I couldn’t help myself, I had to play with the editing a little bit π
These are two separate photos, shot with my Olympus OMD EM5 with the 60mm macro lens. The Flowers are in a vase on my kitchen table and I’m shooting handheld but with the torn shoulder, I’m trying to rest that arm against the table or against my body to keep everything steady.
For the second shot, I just adjusted the white balance and heavily increased clarity and contrast, just for fun.
That’s a pretty cool effect!
