The Flowers of Brunswick East (18)

Lavender is a very popular plant in my neighbourhood. I photographed it a few times for this series. This collection is from one front garden. I like the mix of old and new growth and the shades of lavender – some more blue and some more pink.

There were no bees this time, but there have been plenty on other mornings when I didn’t have my camera..

    Bees know when you’re unprepared!! Lovely shots and such a calming colour. Iโ€™m just back from a few Potato Point walks where I subliminally copied you and picked other people’s flowers – but only with my camera!!
