Hi there,

Welcome to this week’s RegularRandom. I’ve been a little random with posting lately, and I apologise for that. I’ve had a few different things popping up in my life – friends visiting, large amounts of work, my kikki.K Planner Insider project, and two new projects, which I will fill you in on in another post!

So for today, I wanted to show you this incredibly pink posey that I picked up yesterday. It is so vibrant that it’s preferable (to me) to tone done the vibrancy in editing. It truly is as bright as it looks.

I shot for 15 minutes, so I am going to give you 3 posts over the next 3 weeks, each with. a different set of 5 minutes.

If you’d like to join in the RegularRandom crew, here’s how:

  • choose a subject or a scene
  • spend five minutes photographing it – no more!
  • try to not interfere with the subject, instead see it from many angles, look through something at it, change the light that’s hitting it
  • have fun!
  • tag your post #regularrandom and ping back to this post

Looking forward to seeing your shots.

  1. A beautiful assortment of images. I think you were wise to take it down a touch to recreate the spirit. I sometimes do that with the pinkest roses. There can be a harshness in the image that the flower does not have (harshness is not exactly the right word – like the colour, some words need a slider so we can take them back a bit).
