So how could you not expect me to do five minutes with one of the peonies from the festival. There was a mason jar with a peony in it on the table, so while the girls and I were chatting, I spent five minutes getting my macro on πŸ’•

So here is my five minutes with this gorgeous big peony. I love the gradation of colour, the pop of yellow, the textures and angles and feathery parts. Just stunning.

Would you like to join in the RegularRandom crew? Here’s how:

  • choose a subject or a scene
  • spend five minutes photographing it – no more!
  • try to not interfere with the subject, instead see it from many angles, look through something at it, change the light that’s hitting it
  • have fun!
  • tag your post #regularrandom and ping back to this post

Looking forward to seeing your shots.

PS here is the peony in a vase on the table, with some lovely Pimms cocktails.
