Curls of Delight.

I was so taken with this particular flower. I chose it predominantly for its colour, but I did also notice the curls. Once it was in a vase on the table, I was eye level with this beauty and was fascinated by its curls. The shape and the way the colours follow the curves really makes for a delightful flower, and the colours of the other tulips in the background are wonderful as well.

    Lovely. I’ve been trying to think what the artistic curls reminded me of… waves breaking on rocks (too calm), origami (too rounded), whipping cream (too much edge), and finally came down on the side of filo pasty. Now where’s my breakfast?
