TechnoConnect.Today’s theme is Connect and, like the other themes, there are a number of ways to interpret it.  For me, I think the best way is to consider my morning routine: wake up, check WordPress notifications, check FaceBook, check Twitter, check LinkedIn.  The last one usually co-incides with my morning coffee and the start of my workday.

I was lucky enough to catch up with old friends today for lunch – one of them I’ve known for almost 15 years and the other two, probably 12 years at least. We try to catch up about once a month and “connect” to talk about our lives and plans and issues and ideas.

Today, for this theme, we threw our phones into the middle of the table and didn’t check them at all throughout our chat session. Actually, we usually ignore the phones when we get together, but today we made it official.

On my way back to my car, I stopped to get another photo of another Jacaranda tree and spied these two friends connecting in the sunshine on their lunch break.  The photo of the Jacaranda tree was taken on my iPhone6.

Until tomorrow,

PS the eagle-eyed amongst you will see that there are 5 phones and 4 hands.  No weird-science going on, I just have 2 phones – 1 for work, 1 for personal 🙂
