For Justine’s Tea Time #2, I am bringing some Christmas goodies made by my Mama for Christmas. She makes these every year and they are delicious (except the fruit mince pies, I don’t like them, but my family tells me they are scrumptious). We have the fruit mince pies, chocolate crackles, apricot balls, rum balls and my favourite – caramel chews. Mum and I found some pretty tea cups for the shoot and she tells me that they are over 30 years old. They are very fine, with gold trim, just beautiful.
We had a quiet Christmas Day today, just the 4 of us. I came and stayed with my family last night and we spent the day together. Scrambled eggs and Christmas ham for breakfast, then this snack you see in this post, then a late lunch of prawn and mango salad, followed by homemade fish and chips – yum!
Tomorrow is Boxing Day, and we will be at my house with my best friend and her lovely family as well and we will do the traditional roast meats then.
Anyway, for Lucile’s Photo101 Rehab, these photos were taken with my Olympus OMD EM5 camera, with my new Christmas present attached – a 45mm M. Zuiko prime lens (f1.8). What a dream! The other technicalities are in the photo captions.
I’ve included a couple of portrait shots of my dear brother, Darren, to show off this lens, as well as one of his Christmas presents from me, and of course, Miss Gidget 🙂
Merry Christmas & a Joyful Boxing Day.
