Five Minutes with Raspberries

Welcome back to #regularrandom where we spend just 5 minutes with an object or scene, photographing it from different angles, with different light, figuring out which settings and frames of reference will give you the best results.

We’re taking a very short break from cakes this week (I’ve posted a lot of cupcake and macaron pics lately!). Today, it’s raspberries.

I love raspberries, so tart – a little explosion of flavour. Today I spent 5 minutes with these raspberries on a plate. I used my trusty Olympus OMD EM5 but today I used a new lens! This is the M.Zuiko 30mm macro lens and it lets me get very close to my subject.

If you’d like to join in, please tag your post #regularrandom and link back to this post.

Happy shooting!

Isn’t it fabulous?! I was wary of spending the money since I’ve been spending too much lately. But it’s stunning. Thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š
