I happened upon this interesting little plant, perhaps a member of the Callistemon family? Such interesting details in this plant. But then I spotted a busy little bee at work.

They aren’t super-sharp shots, I was just at 1/200s, but I like them anyway.
Here are a few more shots of the plant, which incidentally was quite a tall bush, or a short tree….
A little difficult to photograph with a funny shoulder as I had to shoot upwards. The bee was about half a metre above my head I’d guess.
Olympus OMD EM5, 60mm macro, technically a Flowers of Brunswick East post, but I had to feature the little bee separately 🙂
