For those of you who remember my special shoot for a friend’s 30th Wedding Anniversary, this is one of the roses left over from that shoot. I have him the rest of the bunch to give to his wife, but I kept this one since it was already cut. It dried over the Christmas break while I was away, just like the peony in a recent post.
It was another perfect opportunity for a RegularRandom shoot.
- choose a subject or a scene
- spend five minutes photographing it – no more!
- try to not interfere with the subject, instead see it from many angles, look through something at it, change the light that’s hitting it
- have fun!
